• Analyze code compliance of new and existing buildings.
• Arrive at cost-effective solution.

Mechanical and Electrical Systems Design

• Meet educational requirements.
• Develop systems that are cost-effective in the near term and in the long run.

Cost Estimation and Monitoring

• Make early cost estimates for cost control during the conceptual phase.
• Refine cost estimates as design progresses.
• Utilize bid experience on similar projects, adjust for time, location, complexity, and project size.

Construction Documents

• Make drawing for purpose of government review, bidding and construction.
• Use ConDoc industry-wide format for readability.
• Use library of proven standard details adjusted and supplemented to meet project requirements.
• Use peer review at multiple stages of project development.
• Review drawings with checklist.

Computerized Specifications

• Derive specifications from set of master specifications developed in-house with educational requirements in mind.
• Tailor specifications to abilities of area contractors and material suppliers.
• Use CSI industry-wide format for readability.

Construction Observation and Administration

• Observe construction for quality control, fair payments to contractors and adherence to schedule.
• Equitably resolve conflicts arising during construction.
